Abstract

This research has a quantitative study, which had the data in this study used the quantitative data. This study was designed to test the associative hypothesis that shows the relationship between two or more variables. Data collection methods had used questionnaires media. The population in this study were employees of RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang with totaling 828 people. The sampling technique used in this study had using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Selected sample of 115 respondents were divided into four areas of work which had 57 nursing field, the medical field for 10, 34 supporting staff, and the other health professionals 14. Methods of data analysis in this study using path analysis. Based on the test results prove that (1) the leadership has not directly influence employee motivation. This indicates that the leadership has not contribute significantly to employee motivation. (2) The leadership directly influence employee performance. This indicates that the leadership contributes significantly to the performance of employees. (3) The competence directly influence for employee motivation. This indicates that the competence contribute significantly to employee motivation. (4) The competence directly influence employee performance. This indicates that the competence contribute significantly to the performance of employees. (5) The motivational has effect on employee performance. This indicates that the motivation has contribute significantly to the performance of employees. (6) The motivation has not able to increase the influence of leadership on employee performance because there is no significant direct path is the trajectory path of leadership on performance, although the trajectory path of leadership on the performance significantly. (7) The motivation can improve competence influence on employee performance because all the significant direct path trajectory path on the performance of significant competence and competence to track the trajectory of motivation. This indicates that the motivation has contribute in improving the competence influence on employee performance.
